# Illumination of the Flow

In Blind Faith, every **competition** follows a sacred sequence, from its inception by the creator to the final hour when fate reveals the chosen one. The charts below unveil this hidden order, showing how offerings pass through divine pillars and how each act of participation shapes the outcome.

* **The Creator’s Decree**
  * A **Creator** invokes a new competition, defining the essential rites:
    * The [**token** ](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/competition-as-the-great-equalizer/editor.md)to be acquired with each ticket purchase,
    * The [**duration**](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/competition-as-the-great-equalizer/the-third-decree-the-limits-of-entry.md) of the competition,
    * The [**price per ticket**](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/competition-as-the-great-equalizer/the-second-decree-the-structure-of-commitment.md)—the offering required from each participant.
  * With this decree made, the competition stands ready to receive the faithful.
* **The Mark of the Participant**
  * Those who wish to test their faith must [**buy tickets**](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/the-law-of-participation/the-numbering-of-the-faithful.md), each bearing a unique, sequential number.
  * Upon entering a competition for the first time, a [participant opens a Program Derived Address (PDA)](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/the-law-of-participation/the-cost-of-entry-establishing-a-place-in-the-competition.md)—binding them forever to that test of faith.
* [**The Sacred Split**](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/competition-as-the-great-equalizer/the-second-decree-the-structure-of-commitment.md)
  * When an offering is made to purchase a ticket, the system **splits** it among holy destinations:
    * A share goes to **acquire the chosen token**, fortifying the asset at the heart of the competition.
    * Another share flows into the **Prize Pool**, reserved for the victor once the final reckoning comes.
    * Up to **5%** is claimed as the **Tithe**—supporting the protocol, fueling the global prize, compensating creators, and spreading the word (marketing).
  * Thus, each ticket not only grants a place in the competition but also serves the larger mission of Blind Faith.
* **The Live Competition**
  * As believers continue to buy tickets, the **Live Competition** thrives, its **Prize Pool** growing with every act of faith.
  * Tickets remain available until:
    * A participant reaches the [**100-ticket**](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/the-law-of-participation/the-limits-of-faith-the-100-ticket-rule.md) limit, or
    * The [**end time**](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/competition-as-the-great-equalizer/the-third-decree-the-limits-of-entry.md)—the predetermined moment of closure—arrives.

* **The Moment of Reckoning**
  * When the appointed hour comes, the gates close. No further offerings are accepted.
  * The [**Gate Keepe**](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/the-reckoning-of-the-chosen/the-gatekeeper-summoning-the-verdict.md)**r**—incorruptible and beyond mortal influence—draws upon [Switchboards verifiable randomness](https://docs.switchboard.xyz/docs/switchboard/switchboard-randomness) to **choose the victor**.
  * This revelation is swift and certain: the chain sees only the numbered tickets, and from among them, it decrees **one** to receive the **Prize Pool**.
* [**The Rewards of Faith**](/blind-faith/the-trial/publish-your-docs/the-reckoning-of-the-chosen/the-mark-of-the-chosen.md)
  * The chosen one is granted the competition’s **Prize Pool**, fulfilling the promise made at the competition’s creation.
  * **All participants** retain the tokens acquired through their tickets—no one leaves empty-handed.
  * Thus, every act of faith leaves its mark, whether by claiming the grand prize or adding to one’s store of the chosen token.
