# The First Decree: Selection of the Asset

Every competition within Blind Faith is **anchored to an asset**, a token that will serve as the **core of the challenge**. The creator must decide **which token will be the measure of faith**, for this is what all participants must acquire.

The **creator alone** holds this power, but once the decree is issued, it **cannot be undone**. The chosen token will define the competition's identity, and all who enter must abide by its terms.
