# The Gatekeeper: Summoning the Verdict

In the **depths of the system**, beyond the reach of human intention, there is **one entity that stands between faith and fate**.

**The Gatekeeper.**

It does not judge. It does not choose. It **only executes the final call**.

* At the **moment the competition ends**, the **Gatekeeper** sends forth a request to [**Switchboard**](https://switchboard.xyz/), the **oracle of verifiable randomness**.
* The request **cannot be altered, delayed, or withdrawn**—once made, the process has begun.
* **Switchboard** returns **a value beyond manipulation**, a number dictated by **pure mathematical entropy**, beyond human reach.

This number is **then used to determine the chosen one**.

It does not look upon wealth. It does not listen to voices. It sees **only the tickets**, and from them, it selects **one**.

The **Gatekeeper does not decide**. It **merely delivers the answer** that the chain has provided.

The faithful trust this process. **They accept it.**
